Jellyfish explores the concept of vulnerability and resilience, suggesting that we are all a bit like jellyfish. On the surface, we appear to be carried by the current, but beneath that, there is a precise direction, far from random, that others fail to perceive. The piece plays with the image of an apparently fragile and invertebrate being, but one that knows how to defend itself with strength and determination when needed. It is a reflection on our relationship with appearances, and how people often see us superficially, overlooking our ability to adapt and respond to challenges.
